How to Spot a Quality Football Shirt

Not all shirts are equal. Here are the 5 things we check on every product before listing it.

1. The fabric

A good shirt uses technical polyester (Dri-FIT/AEROREADY style): light, breathable, holds its shape after washing. Soft and slightly textured to the touch — never plasticky.

2. Badges and crests

The crest must be embroidered or high-density heat-applied with sharp edges. A pixelated or warping logo is a bad sign.

3. Stitching

Check the inside: seams should be flat and regular, especially at the shoulders and underarms.

4. The printing

Quality name-and-number printing is supple, matte and perfectly centred. Our personalisation uses each competition's official fonts, heat-applied.

5. Finishing details

Collar labels, clean sponsor prints, aligned league patches: the details that separate a decent shirt from one you're proud of.
